A group built
on introductions
that hold.
We started Aldermere after years on both sides of the table, tired of watching sound businesses lose deals to distance, paperwork and doubt.
Our story
We began as a small private syndicate lending to industrial businesses in Europe. As those companies grew they asked us for other things: buyers abroad, suppliers they could trust, licences, freight, and someone to call in a bad quarter.
So we built the network, then opened it to others. Today it covers nine sectors and includes founders, investors, manufacturers, exporters, importers and the advisers around them.
Most of our work starts with two questions. Who is on the other side of the table, and where is this business in five years?
The partners own the group outright. Nobody hands us a deadline to place money, so we can say no to a deal and mean it.
What we stand for
Verify, then introduce
No name goes into the network before it is checked. Our reputation is the whole product.
Long horizons
We stay with a business through the cycle instead of trading in and out of it.
Plain dealing
Plain terms, plain fees, plain answers, including no.
How the group is put together
Partner-led
One partner takes your file at the first meeting and keeps it for years afterwards. It never gets passed to a junior desk once the papers are signed.
Own capital in the room
We put our own money into deals we believe in. It keeps us honest about the ones we do not.
Operators, not only financiers
Our partners have run factories, freight desks and lending books. The advice comes from having done the job.
Compliance first
Ownership, sanctions and source of funds are checked before anyone is introduced. Both sides, every time.
Where we work
We are European by origin, but the work goes where the business is.
Western and Central Europe, the Nordics and Baltics, the Gulf, North Africa, Türkiye, and selected markets in the Americas and South-East Asia. We only work where we have someone who can walk the site, read the contracts in the local language and tell us what the registry leaves out. If we do not have that, we say so and point you to someone who does.
